This article was published in the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine in 2020. It is one of the earliest and most comprehensive studies on the effects of lion's mane mushroom on sleep quality in people with insomnia.

The study involved 120 people with insomnia. Participants were divided into two groups: an experimental group that received 1,000 mg of lion's mane mushroom extract twice daily, and a control group that received a placebo. The experimental group received lion's mane mushroom extract for 8 weeks.

As we can see from the data (see screenshot), the results of this study are promising. They suggest that lion's mane mushroom extract may be a potential new treatment for sleep disorders and insomnia.
