Description
Red fly agaric tincture (Amanita muscaria) is an alcohol extract made from mushroom raw material through prolonged infusion for 3 months. This format allows part of the mushroom’s natural components to be transferred into liquid form and makes it convenient to dose the tincture by drops.
The main scientific interest in Amanita muscaria is associated with muscimol – a neuroactive compound that acts as an agonist of GABA-A receptors. GABA-A receptors participate in inhibitory processes of the central nervous system, regulation of neuronal excitation, sleep, and the stress response.
A separate area of research concerns pain and the inflammatory response. Polysaccharides isolated from Amanita muscaria have been studied in experimental models in relation to neurogenic and inflammatory pain and mechanisms of inflammatory mediator regulation.
The tincture differs from dried caps primarily in its form: there is no need to grind or weigh the dried mushroom, and the required amount of liquid can be measured with a dropper. For external application, the 60 ml format also includes a spray nozzle.
At the same time, Amanita muscaria contains neuroactive substances, so the nature of its effect depends largely on concentration, amount, and individual sensitivity. The tincture requires especially careful use.
Active components of fly agaric
Muscimol
One of the key neuroactive substances in Amanita muscaria. It acts as an agonist of GABA-A receptors and influences inhibitory neurotransmission in the central nervous system. This mechanism is the reason for significant scientific interest in muscimol in studies of sleep, neuronal excitation, and behavioral responses.
Ibotenic acid
A natural compound of fly agaric and a precursor of muscimol. Unlike muscimol, its action is primarily associated with the glutamatergic system, so the content of ibotenic acid is important for the product’s effect profile and tolerability.
Polysaccharides
Fly agaric contains polysaccharide complexes, including β-D-glucan and fucomannoglucan, which have been studied. In animal models, they demonstrated anti-inflammatory and antinociceptive activity.
Main properties of red fly agaric tincture
When used carefully, fly agaric tincture is most often chosen for:
☘️ supporting the balance between excitation and inhibition processes in the nervous system;
☘️ reducing the feeling of inner overstrain;
☘️ supporting psycho-emotional balance;
☘️ supporting the natural mechanisms of sleep and rest;
☘️ supporting the nervous system during periods of increased stress load;
☘️ external application to areas of muscle and joint discomfort;
☘️ local support during physical load on muscles and joints.
The effect depends on the method of use, amount, and individual sensitivity.
How the tincture differs from dried fly agaric
The tincture is a ready-made liquid extract that:
- does not require grinding or weighing the dried mushroom;
- is measured with a dropper;
- is convenient for local application;
- in the 60 ml format, comes with a spray nozzle for application to the skin;
- is compact and convenient to store.
✅ Best combination
In combination with lion’s mane, which supports neuroplasticity, the effects may be enhanced.
Reishi complements support for the nervous and immune systems well. This combination is often chosen during periods of increased stress, emotional exhaustion, and to improve the quality of the body’s recovery.

Specification
Who is suitable for
Red fly agaric tincture is most often chosen:
- during periods of high psycho-emotional load;
- in case of difficulty with “inner slowing down” after a stressful day;
- to support the nervous system and psycho-emotional balance;
- in case of disruption of the usual sleep rhythm due to overload;
- in case of increased reactivity to stress;
- for local application to areas of muscle discomfort;
- for external use on joint areas after physical load;
- by those who find it more convenient to use a liquid form instead of dried mushroom.
Due to the presence of neuroactive components, it is especially important to take individual sensitivity to Amanita muscaria into account.

Recommended course of treatment
Course: 1 month.
The intake protocol is selected individually, taking into account the overall condition and tolerance of the components.
An individual intake protocol is provided with the order.
Storage conditions and quality of raw materials
To produce the tincture, Amanita muscaria raw material and ethyl alcohol are used. The infusion process lasts 3 months.
- only caps of Amanita muscaria are used;
- the raw material is cleaned from sand and impurities;
- low-temperature drying is used to preserve active compounds.
Confirmed quality
✔ Amanita muscaria raw material has been tested for compliance with sanitary standards and confirmed to be free from bacterial and toxicological risks.
Test report No. 10249/25 dated 13.11.2025.
Test report No. 11639/25 dated 18.11.2025
Storage conditions
Store tightly closed in a dry, dark, and cool place.
Avoid direct sunlight and heating.
Due to the alcohol base, keep away from sources of fire.
Keep out of reach of children.
Please note
Amanita muscaria contains neuroactive compounds, so the tincture requires careful use.
The spray nozzle is for external use only. Do not spray into the oral cavity.
Do not combine with alcohol. It should also not be combined without consulting a doctor with medications that affect the central nervous system, particularly sedatives and sleeping medications.
Not recommended for use without consulting a specialist:
- children under 18 years old;
- pregnant women and women during lactation;
- in case of epilepsy or seizure conditions;
- in case of mental disorders;
- in case of individual sensitivity to the product components.
When used internally, an excessive amount of Amanita muscaria may cause nausea, vomiting, dizziness, impaired coordination, drowsiness, confusion, and other neurological symptoms. If pronounced adverse reactions occur, use must be discontinued.
For external use, do not apply to damaged skin, mucous membranes, or the area around the eyes. Wash hands after application.
