Complex for Alcohol Addiction Treatment

Why does alcohol dependence occur?

Alcohol dependence is not only a social or psychological issue but also the result of profound biochemical changes in the brain.

  • The activity of the excitatory neurotransmitter glutamate increases, making it difficult to fall asleep and causing irritability and anxiety.

  • The inhibitory GABA system is suppressed. It becomes hard to relax, leading to inner tension and insomnia.

  • Dopamine imbalance occurs, meaning the feeling of joy from ordinary things disappears, and a strong craving for alcohol as the only source of pleasure develops.

These processes cause withdrawal symptoms: anxiety, insomnia, irritability, and strong cravings for alcohol.

Course duration: 1 month

How does the complex work?

The formula includes three powerful components that complement each other:

1. Fly agaric (Amanita muscaria)

Active compounds — muscimol and ibotenic acid.

  • Muscimol is a GABA-A receptor agonist. It helps “reset” receptor sensitivity, reduce excessive brain excitation, improve sleep, and lower anxiety (Rouhani, 1998).

  • Ibotenic acid is a precursor of muscimol. In small doses, it stabilizes the dopamine system, reducing alcohol cravings (KONIG-BERSIN, 1970).

Proven effects in studies:

  • Improves sleep, reduces night awakenings (Rouhani, 1998)

  • Decreases aggression and tension by 27–33% (Rouhani, 1992)

  • Reduces alcohol intake by 18–35% via amygdala effects (Roberts, 1996)

  • Suppresses “glutamate storm” during withdrawal, balances GABA/glutamate (Hermann, 2012)

  • Stabilizes reward system function (dopamine, CRF, cortisol) (Gundlach, 1980)

2. Lion’s mane (Hericium erinaceus)

Extract of fruiting bodies and mycelium with high levels of erinacines, polysaccharides, and beta-glucans.

  • Stimulates the production of NGF (nerve growth factor), restoring neuroplasticity. (Shun-Kuo Sun, 2021).

Thus, the active components of Lion’s Mane (especially erinacines) can support the survival and regeneration of neurons, which is extremely valuable for the therapy of neurodegenerative damage.

  • Improves concentration, reduces anxiety, and alleviates cognitive impairments associated with alcoholism. (I-Chen Li , 2018).

A clinical study showed that individuals who consumed Lion’s Mane extract products for 4 weeks experienced a significant reduction in anxiety and irritability compared to placebo. (Mayumi Nagano, 2010).

  • Supports the recovery of the nervous system after the toxic effects of alcohol.(Shun-Kuo Sun, 2021)

Lion’s Mane extracts are able to prevent ethanol-induced brain cell death, as well as restore neurons already damaged by alcohol.

3. Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) — spore oil

Oil with a high triterpene content (up to 48%).

  • Has a pronounced hepatoprotective effect — protects the liver from alcohol damage. (Chao Zhao, 2019)

Responsible for this are specifically the triterpenoid compounds of Reishi: as the authors note, triterpenes — the main components of the extract — protected the liver from alcohol by increasing the activity of antioxidant enzymes and reducing the inflammatory response.

  • Lowers cortisol levels, helping the nervous system restore balance more quickly.

Reishi can mitigate the body’s stress response (hyperactivation of the “hypothalamus–pituitary–adrenal” axis), helping the nervous system regain equilibrium faster.

  • Supports immunity and normalizes sleep.

Recent clinical reports indicate that in patients with insomnia or anxiety disorders, adding Reishi to therapy improved sleep quality and reduced symptoms. (Chunyan Yao, 2021)

Expected results for humans

🔹 Reduced alcohol cravings
🔹 Sleep recovery and fewer night awakenings
🔹 Lower anxiety, aggression, and impulsivity
🔹 Nervous system and cognitive function restoration
🔹 Liver protection and reduced toxic impact of alcohol
🔹 Lower relapse risk and easier withdrawal

FAQ

Can the complex be combined with antidepressants or other drugs?
Not recommended with psychoactive drugs (antidepressants, tranquilizers, sleeping pills). May enhance their effect and cause side effects. Consult your doctor before use.

How fast does it work?
First improvements (better sleep, less anxiety) appear within 1–2 weeks. Reduced alcohol craving usually after 3–4 weeks.

Can it completely cure alcoholism?
No. This is not a “magic pill” but a supportive tool in complex therapy. It reduces cravings, eases withdrawal, helps restore nervous system balance, and lowers relapse risk, but does not replace medical treatment.

Does the brain recover after years of alcohol use?
Partially. Studies show receptors regain sensitivity within months after short-term abuse. After 10–20 years, some changes are irreversible. The complex supports neuroplasticity and functional recovery.

Can it be taken during withdrawal?
Yes, it was designed for this. Active compounds of Amanita, Hericium, and Reishi reduce anxiety, improve sleep, lower cravings, and support the liver during detox.

Is fly agaric safe in the formula?
The complex uses microdosing, giving therapeutic effects without toxic load. Important to follow dosage and avoid long-term combination with alcohol.

Each order includes a personalized intake protocol.

This information is provided for educational purposes only and does not replace medical consultation.
