The chaga mushroom (lat. Inonotus obliquus), also known as the mowed tinder, is a birch parasitic fungus. The chemical composition of the chaga mushroom is quite rich in useful substances, such as flavonoids, alkaloids, sterols, tannins, melanin, phytoncides and others.
